The Master bedroom of the loft was enormous. Probably one of the biggest bedrooms I have ever seen! It was massive, and empty.. and felt so cold without any furniture. When you walked in the condo it was immediately to the right of the foyer, and it was hard to determine if it was a bedroom or living room.
Here are some before shots of the bedroom:
As you can see the room is massive... with really high 15' ceilings and exposed ductwork.
Here's a picture of the room coming together.... I take an upholstered headboard and prop it up against the wall. Then I blow up my air mattress, and rest it on egg cartons. I tape the bed skirt to the mattress, add the bedding... and viola!
And here it is all put together! I always use a white quilt when I stage bedrooms. It always looks fresh and clean, and most importantly- matches any room color that I may come across!
Here's the corner of the room that I set up to be a sitting room....
Here's the sitting area... I added some curtain panels to the door, brought in a love seat and chair, and tried to create an area where a homeowner can imagine themselves hanging out.
I could totally envision myself hanging out in this Master bedroom with a good book.... or a good coffee....
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
