Here are several before pictures of the Dining Room and kitchen of the Milwaukee home:
That's me in the mirror! :) I always stage the dining room with a beautiful buffet, but this room already had one built in!
Another view of the room.... Most of the room was a pale taupe, but the other side was a terra cotta color. The carpet was new, kind of a shaggy brown color.
My favorite part, bringing in the accessories!
And here she is with furniture! I added some accents in the cabinets, some white pottery and accessories. Less is always better when staging. I added a chalkboard and wrote "Welcome Home" on it. When I work with a smaller dining room I like to use a bench instead of chairs. It is such a space saver!
A few pieces of white potterty....
The black clock stopped working years ago, so I just took off the arms and gave it a swipe or two of white chalk paint, it makes a great staging accessory!
Adding some curtain panels sure softens up the room!
A view looking into the kitchen...
The dining room is off to the right of the entrance, and really needed to impress when you enter! I can't decide if I like the living room or the dining room better!
Now for the kitchen:
I don't think kitchens need much in the way of staging. A rug, a few things on the counter and a table and chairs if space allows.
Here is a before picture of the kitchen.. The kitchen felt so dark and kind of sad without any furniture in it...
Here's some accessories that I put in the space...
Now I think any family can envision eating breakfast together every morning!
Cute built in desk...
The kitchen just needed a few accessories on the counter to add some life to the space!
